Our Story
Yamas is Greek for "to our health". That one word, said over a raised glass, is the whole idea behind this place: a good table, a good drink, and an evening that runs long.
In the old streets of Kalkan, in our courtyard under the vines, we cook Aegean and Greek food the way it is meant to be eaten: shared. Daily meze, fish straight off the grill, charcoal meats, and rakı or ouzo alongside.
The tablecloths are blue and white, the plates go in the middle, and the music climbs as the night goes on. Come and say cheers.

What you might want to know before visiting Yamas Kalkan.
The online reservation form takes a few seconds, or you can message us by phone or WhatsApp. In high summer and at weekends we recommend booking a few days ahead.
We open at 18:00 every evening and serve until midnight. The kitchen is built around dinner service; we do not serve lunch.
We are inside Kalkan old town at Mustafa Kocakaya Cd. No:10. The old town is pedestrianised, so leave the car in the car parks down by the harbour and walk up in a few minutes, or take a taxi straight into the old town.
Our bar and drinks service is upstairs at NUDE Roofbar. Start the evening with a cocktail, or head up after dinner and carry on with the view over Kalkan. Rakı, wine and beer are of course served at your table down in the courtyard too.
It is the part guests love most. As the evening goes on the music comes up, the tables get to their feet, and the sirtaki carries on in the courtyard. We also put on live music nights through the season and announce the line-up on our social channels. If you would prefer a quieter dinner, come earlier.
Plenty. Most of our meze are vegetarian and many are vegan, and there are grilled vegetables and salads on the menu too. Tell us about any allergies when you order and the kitchen will work around them.
